COTTON VELVET

Velvets are soft fabrics that require special care to keep their properties and beauty intact. Use smooth textiles to wipe and clean. To maintain their properties, velvets should be dry-cleaned on a gentle cycle with perchloroethylene. Any liquid can damage the fabric, so in the event of a spill, wipe it without rubbing with a hot, steamy cloth and leave it to work on the stain for a while.

CHENILLE

This fabric has stain-free technology, for easy cleanability and optimum washability. In case of stain, pour water directly onto the stain then bolt using white paper towels, repeat this process until the paper towel no longer absorbs the stain. Finish by adding water and gently rubbing with a microfiber cloth in a circular movement. Continue until the stain vanishes. In case of stubborn stains, softly rub a bar of household soap on the stain. Finish by adding water and gently rubbing with a microfiber cloth in a circular movement. Continue until the stain vanishes.

BOUCLÉ WOOL

Given the delicate nature of this fabric, dusting should be as gentle as possible, with a cloth or soft brush, or vacuumed with a soft brush. Washing it is not recommended. Please dry clean only, using perchloroethylene and trichloroethylene, without adding water. Reduced mechanical action and low temperatures are required.

LEATHER

Leather is a natural product, therefore imperfections such as scars, wrinkles, and bite marks are part of its natural beauty and should be expected. Dye lots may vary from time to time. Leather is a resistant material, yet, it needs to be maintained. Direct sunlight should be avoided, as it could cause damage to the surface. For cleaning small stains use a soft, slightly damp cloth. In case of using a detergent, use one with neutral PH specific for leather upholstery. When using non-abrasive detergents, test in an inconspicuous spot before using them on visible surfaces.

NUBUCK

Cleaning products in leather is a delicate operation, hence it should be carried out by professionals. Avoid placing leather in direct sunlight. Keep the leather away from direct sources of heat and dust regularly with a soft, dry microfiber cloth.

WOOD VENEERS, LACQUER & METAL LEAVES

To give a soft shine to the wood or lacquered surfaces, clean with a soft cloth to remove dust or smudges. To remove stickiness or light soil, wipe with a damp cloth. Follow up by rubbing with a dry cloth immediately. When using non-abrasive detergents, test them in an inconspicuous spot before using them on visible surfaces. Avoid leaving the damp cloth sitting on varnished surfaces. Extremely humid or dry air can cause damage to wood and lacquers. Please do not place hot or moist objects directly on the wood. Do not use commercial, heavy-duty polishes or waxes, as they can damage finishes.

METAL & UPHOLSTERY NAILS

Cleaning requires wiping with a damp cloth and then wiping dry with a clean soft cloth. This procedure must be done with extreme care to avoid scratching the surface. Prevention is the best protection against surface scratches. Do not use abrasives, ammonia, products containing ammonia, or any other corrosive cleaning solutions as this can damage the metal and the varnish.

MARBLE & STONE

Regular cleanings should be as gentle as possible - use a damp, non-abrasive soft cloth to wipe off the marble or stone. Do not use scouring pads, acidic detergents, or abrasive cleaning products to prevent permanent scratches, stains, or damage. Use only neutral soaps. Do not use dusting sprays or abrasive cleaners. Products containing vinegar, lemon, or other acids may dull or etch the marble or stone. Avoid contact with common acidic liquids such as fruit juices, wine, vinegar, coffee, and tea - these can stain the materials permanently. Wash the marble or stone with a cloth dampened with warm water, and, if necessary, a bit of neutral soap or a product specifically made for marble care. Remove the soap with another damp cloth. Marble and stone are expected to be temporarily darker when wet or moist. These materials can be permanently altered if the design is exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods. Over time, the sun and light can cause color to fade. The recommended cleaning and caring steps will help maintain the materials’ look and feel.

MIRROR & GLASS

Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use an abrasive cleaner. Spray a small amount of glass cleaner onto a lint-free cloth and wipe the mirror/glass.
